THE CHEESE EXPERIENCE – VETRIATA FARM (Rolasco)

My name is Roberto, I’m a young man who dedicates his life to run a small farm , where I take care of biological crops, respecting eco-sustainability.

Starting from 2013, I will produce cheese by converting the milk of my oats, which live in the open air, bred in stables and pastures .

The cheese production, made with RAW MILK, is based on the milk curd, which authentically gives value to the oat’s milk. It consists in letting the ferments work out, in order to obtain the curd before the cheese production.
I personally make various types of ‘formaggette’ (Piedmont tomas) in my small cheese factory, close to my old farm, which was built in the XVII century, as an example of rural Monferrato architecture.

I would like to invite you to come and visit my place. To taste my ‘formaggette’…we will sit together and eat cheese , which is a true expression on our land.

We accept both individuals and groups up to 12 people
Cost: Euro 9.00 p.p. tasting experience.
Time: almost 1.30 hrs (you do not find CASCINA VETRIATA on GPS…we will take you there)
